INSTEAD OF BLOGGING, I'VE BEEN DIGGING....


...in the earth that is....planting, weeding, thinning, pruning, mulching.  We have a corner property with a lot of beds to maintain.  It's taking two of us to get our plants ready to face the hot, dry Carolina summer that's ahead.  Read more....

Your yard looks very nice. I have never heard of pine straw. What do you use it for?

Peggy, Pine straw is made up of the fallen pine needles from pine trees. They're gathered, bundled and sold to homeowners to be used as mulch.
